Over the years, the Alliance has adopted policy statements on a host of issues. These statements serve as the guiding principles by which the NCLA board of directors responds to legislative proposals introduced in the Colorado General Assembly, ballot issues, and local and federal issues.
Then annually, the NCLA surveys its chamber and EDC members on important business issues and meets with a host of area organizations to determine what action needs to be taken at the local, state and federal level to maintain and improve the business climate in Northern Colorado.The NCLA’s priority agenda evolves from year to year to reflect the Northern Colorado business community’s top concerns and the changing dynamic of the business and political climate, with consideration of the NCLA's guiding policy statements.
